~ Julie's Team in Training PledgePage ~

Hello and welcome to my fundraising website!!!

Just about a year ago I sent a letter out announcing that I would be training for my very first marathon with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. Since that letter, I have accomplished some great things. I not only completed the the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco on October 24, 2004, but I also fundraised almost $6200 to fight blood-related cancers. I also spent a season as a TNT mentor, dedicating my time to help new TNTers reach their fundraising goals.

My whole experience with TNT has been so positive and life-changing that I've decided to go another round! Not only will I be mentoring again this season, but I will also be training for the Maui Half Marathon. I am dedicating all of my training mileage to my honored hero Larry Reese. And as I pound the pavement in Maui on September 18th, I will be racing toward the finish line in his honor.

My mission is to raise at LEAST $4800 to help find a cure for leukemia and lymphoma. I hope that you will join me in the fight to eradicate blood-related cancers by sponsoring my run. Any and all donations towards my fundraising goal will be appreciated!! Be sure to sign my guest book so I know that you stopped by to visit. And don't forget to check out my online diary. I've kept all of my diary entries from my first season with TNT, so feel free to check those out. Or start with the entry dated 5/22/05 to track my current training progress.

With love and appreciation,
Julie
